ParkVisitCheck is useful only if a visitor can tell where a fact came from, when it was retrieved and what the source does not establish.
Used for: Official active park alerts when accessible from the NPS public alert listing; official park current-conditions and calendar links.
Limits: The public alert listing reflects currently posted alerts. A future visit can change. ParkVisitCheck does not infer road or trail status from the absence of a matched alert.
Used for: Official point metadata, hourly forecasts and active weather alerts for a representative point in each park.
Limits: A point forecast is not continuous coverage of a large park and does not establish trail, road, air-quality or activity safety.
